AbstractPhotos and biographical article about Ernest Truex (1889-1973), a movie and television actor starting out as a child actor in the play "Quo Vadis" at "the old Auditorium Theater in Kansas City" around 1900. Native Kansas Citian growing up in Rich Hill, Missouri before moving to New York City about 1905 as a stage actor going on to appear in early silent movies in the 1910s (such as "The Quest of the Sacred Jewel") and television shows in the 1940s-1960s (such as "The Twilight Zone").
