AbstractFile containing a photo and obituary for Fiermon Prymus, "a bandleader, drummer and singer who started as a gospel singer in the 1920s and went on to become a fixture in Kansas City's jazz scene" dying at the age of 84 in 2001. Arriving here in 1922 as a singer, forming "the Kings of Jazz" band, and performing at "clubs such as the Blue Room and the Subway."
