Title'Beverly Hillbillies' Creator Dies
AbstractNotice of the death of Paul Henning, a television writer and producer and creator of the television show "The Beverly Hillbillies". Henning was 93 when he died March 25, 2005 and was a native of Independence, Missouri. He sang on radio station KMBC and was also an actor, disc jockey and news announcer for the station.
NotesWhen he shot several episodes of 'The Beverly Hillbillies' in Silver Dollar City, Mo., Henning was taken with an unspoiled section of the mountains. He bought a large parcel, which is now the Ruth and Paul Henning State Forest. His wife, Ruth Henning, died in 2002.
