AbstractThe Board of Education office moved in December 1874 to the northwest corner of 8th and Main Streets at the Redmond Sage Building.
NotesOpening of schools in September 1873 immediately following the organization of the Board of Education and consideration of a public library. Resolution adopted on December 5, 1873, for the establishment of a library in which was placed a bookcase in the superintendent's room, upstairs, where books were first kept.
