AbstractThe Kansas City Art Institute has established a scholarship fund in the name of Leonard Pryor, a former art instructor at Lincoln High School and academic dean at the Art Institute. Pryor was the first African American graduate of the Art Institute and a former student of Thomas Hart Benton. The scholarship fund will assist minority students with the cost of tuition and supplies.
