Description: View looking toward the south of Central High School located at 11th and Locust streets in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. In 1915 the building housed the Kansas City Junior College. Later in 1953 the building was torn down.

Noted on the back of photo in pencil, "Gift of Nadine Hodges to MV Room/This was from the files of Mr. Henry Ortmann, K.C., MO./He was the father of Mrs. Van Dyke Hodges." Date received stamped as October 26, 1965.
