The Fairfax Airport and Its Role in World War II

Description: Article describes the various uses and occupants of the Fairfax Airport and industrial area from the time of the land's purchase by Guy Stanley in the early 1920's, to the airport's closure at midnight on March 31, 1985. The author writes that the terminal building and all other structures of the airport and World War II era bomber plant at Fairfax were eventually razed by General Motors.
