Fry McGee

Description: Bio of Fry McGee (1816-1861), a native of Kentucky (dying in Osage County, Kansas) arriving in Kansas City with his family in 1827 to eventually become Kansas Town Company collector. Performed final lot sale in 1847. Owned brick house, supposedly the city's oldest, at 3rd and Locust Streets, built in 1848.
