Photograph of the St. Stephen's Catholic Church and Academy buildings at 1029 and 1001 Bennington Avenue in the 1980s. Construction on the stone church building began in 1919. In 1990, the congregation was consolidated with the nearby Holy Trinity and St. Michael's churches in the St. Stephen's building, renamed Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. The school building was constructed circa 1960 adjacent to the north of the church, and closed in 2010 due to declining enrollment.
