Article tells of Kansas City's first home for boys. The site of the home, at the intersection of Southwest Trafficway and Westport Road, was originally the house of of James G. Hamilton. It eventually became the Perry Memorial Home for Boys. The school was sold in 1960 and Old Westport Shopping Center was built on the site in 1963.
