Photos, illustrations, and description of its history, built in 1850, according to William Goff, by the Ewing brothers, George W. Ewing and William G. Ewing, with construction starting at 504 Westport Road and then moved to 500 Westport Road, sold in 1854 to Albert Boone.

Information about Albert Gallatin Boone, or Albert Boone (1806-1884), the grandson of Daniel Boone and leader in the Santa Fe outfitting trade after 1849 in Westport. Photos, illustrations, and descriptions of his career, entering Westport in 1838, operating a grocery business with J. G. Hamilton until 1849, then with William R. Bernard until 1853, then owning the Boone's Trading Post store from 1854 until 1859, one of the oldest standing buildings in Kansas City.
