Sometimes referred to as the Bent - Ward Home, it was put on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 as the Frederick Campbell Residence, Ward House and on the the Kansas City Register of Historic Places in 1985. The home was originally built in the 1850s by William Bent on land that served as part of the battleground during the Battle of Westport. The home was bought by Seth E. Ward in 1871, who made additions to the home. Restoration was begun in 1949 by Dr. and Mrs. Frederick B. Campbell. Located in the Sunset Hill neighborhood.

Photograph of the five window bay on the south facade of the single family home at 3932 Central Street, built circa 1885. Recognized in the Historic Inventory of the State Historical Survey and Planning Office in 1976 as the Charles N. Price Residence. Price who was City Marshall for Westport Missouri in 1887. The window is considered architecturally significant for home design at the time it was built, according to the Inventory. As of 2018, the home appears to have been significantly renovated.
