Muehlebach Flowers, at 3934 Main Street, is picture, as is a free-standing restaurant building that had been vacated by a Denny's restaurant in 1982. Calvary Baptist Church, at 3921 Baltimore, can be seen in the background on the opposite side of the block. The Price Candy Company Building, occupied by the Foolkiller Theater company, can be seen on the northwest corner of the intersection.

Foolkiller Theater, on the northwest corner of 39th and Main, can be seen in the background of the image. The restaurant building and gas station to the north were demolished in 1998.
