Description of her life and career, coming to Kansas City (residence at 1807 East 7th Street) in the late 1800s from her native Illinois and starting her day nursery on 5th Street in the 1890s and opening the children's center in 1906 at the Institutional Church (changed in 1946 in name "to the Della C. Lamb Neighborhood House") and dying in 1951.
