On September 28, 2005, the Central Exchange, a place for professional women to meet and share ideas, will honor its 12 originating members. The group started with Beth Smith and Marjorie Powell Allen and now has 900 members. Those being honored include: Kay Barnes, Anita Butler, Joan Dillon, Adele Hall, Mamie Currie Hughes, Dorothy Johnson, Linda Moore, Linda Hood Talbott and Judith Whittaker.
