In-depth historical study of the buildings and structures within "Block 35," the area between 7th Street on the north, 9th Street on the south, Pennsylvania Avenue on the west and Washington Street on the east. The "Block 35" designation was assigned by Kansas City's Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority (LCRA).

Reminiscences by Mrs. Wheeler of her childhood home in the 1850s, "surrounded by large forest trees," etc., on 9th Street between Main and Wyandotte Streets. Also a paper entitled "Memories of My Childhood Home" by Mrs. Wheeler plus two photocopied newspaper articles concerning her death.
