Scrapbook page containing eight advertising cards showing African Americans in various situations. Two of the cards are missing. The cards show:1. Two geese with bodies made of bags of tobacco and cotton flying over a man in a field. Card says: "Copyright. Richmond and Co., Buffalo, N.Y."2. A man holding a fishing rod sitting by a river on a large spool of "Clark's O.N.T. Spool Cotton." Caption says: "'I reckon dis yere's strong 'nuff suah.'"3. A woman fixing a man's tie as three children look on. Caption says: "Sunday. Yer looks Lubly Ephraim, and it all comes-using dat Higgins' Soap."4. A woman and some children opening the door to a visitor or salesman whose coat tails are being nibbled by a goat. Card says: "Compliments of the Domestic Sewing Machine Co."5.
