American Royal Looks At Its Future
-
Description
-
A $50 million plan to enlarge the American Royal complex was given on October 20, 2005. The actual costs will probably be between $50 and $100 million dollars. It is hoped that an additional 151,000 visitors will result and it should create more than 500 jobs. Neal Patterson, head of Cerner Corporation, gave the presentation. Shopping areas and expanded year-round facilities and venues for regional and national equestrian, rodeo and livestock events are part of the plan. Article includes a diagram of the facilities.
