Building's Power Failure Harms Telecom Tenants
-
Description
-
The Bryant Building downtown is being made into a telecom carrier hotel. The art deco building is 75 years old, and "lost power for 18 hours Dec. 11, a crippling blow to the scores of telecom tenants that have office space there and need electricity to run computer server farms and receive Internet connectivity". The building also had a 14 hour power failure earlier in the year when the basement flooded. Tenants have not been very happy.
