Includes information on the AMC entertainment center by that name from the late 1990s to the development that resulted around the Sprint Center in 2007-8. Names of areas within the district include Kansas City Live located between Walnut Street and Grand Boulevard, 13th and 14th streets and a public plaza area located between Main Street and Walnut Street, 13th Street to 14th Street. The district name derived from the Kansas City Power and Light building located in that area. It has been developed by the Cordish Co.
