Second City Hall building, on the east side of Main between E. 4th and 5th streets, opened in 1892. Frontal and side view with garden to the south of the building. The garden was later replaced with an annex to City Hall and a fire station. The building was razed in 1938 when the new City Hall on 12th Street opened.

Current tenants, Bush Helzberg and Jonathan Angrist, are purchasing the office building at 4049 Pennsylvania Ave. in Westport. The building is on the site of the former City Hall. The second City Hall building "was a massive stone and turret building that went up in the 1890s. It also served as a police station, a fire station and as chemial engineering labs for Midwest Research Institute. It was razed in 1955."
