Portrait identified as Floyd Eugene Estep, son of Frank (Pop) Estep, who joined the group on reeds in late summer 1925. According to Edmiston's book, p. 326 - Floyd Estep was born January 17, 1900, and died January 21, 1998, at the age of 98. He eventually moved to Los Angeles, California, and did music arranging and instrumental work in the motion picture industry.
