Marker Dedication
-
Description
-
Exterior view of a group of people standing and watching what appears to be the unveiling of a monument or marker, exact location not given, perhaps Independence, Missouri. May be a Daughters of the American Revolution marker to commemorate the Santa Fe Trail or another trail. Building on the corner has lettering which says: "J.F. Jarboe, General...., Horseshoeing, Blacksmith." Also appears to be several pieces of advertising for a Jesse James event. Not an original photograph but a copy with "Photograph from Grinter's Studio" in view on lower right.
