Guadalupe Center marks opening of expanded site.

Description

The opening of the newly-expanded Guadalupe Center was celebrated on August 16, 2003 with a Mass, procession to the Center carrying the restored Madonnas, and festivities. Started in 1919 in three white houses, "Las Casas Blancas", the Center now serves about 20,000 people at nine metro area sites and has a staff of 100 and budget of $4.5 million.
