Appendix I of this book is "A Jesse James time line, including princiipal crimes attributed to the James-Younger Gang." It begins with December 28, 1841, when Robert James and Zerelda Cole, parents of Jesse James, were married in Scott County, Kentucky. Ending date is October 28, 1995, when Jesse James was reburied in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Kearney, Missouri. (Appendix II is "Jesse James as he has appeared in movies and on television" and Appendix III is "Known and suspected members of the James-Younger Gang.")The book itself contains portions of writings concerning Jesse James from such people as John Newman Edwards, T. J. Stiles, Jim Cummins, Jesse James, Jr., Homer Croy, Ted Yeatman, and many others.
