Police Residency Bill Now Includes KC

Details how Kansas City was included in a bill in the Missouri house that removed residency requirements for police officers. The bill was target at St. Louis, which has a difficult time recruiting police officers due to requirements that they live within the St. Louis City limits. Though supported by the Fraternal Order of Police, Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas opposed the inclusion of Kansas City.
