Pictures and story about items left as remembrances at "The Wall That Heals," a traveling half-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall installed in Blue Springs the Fall of 2010 at Pink Hill Park. Items left at the wall, such as beer bottles, MIA bracelets, shoes, a teddy bear, etc., were collected by volunteers and are now preserved at the Midwest Genealogy Center in Independence, Missouri. In addition, four persons stories are shared: Bill Woods, Raytown; Jerry Barham, North Kansas City; Joan Bland, Independence; and Cathy Stacker, Independence.
