The City Council unanimously voted to authorize a two-year contract with Troy Schulte as the City Manager. Schulte has served for the past 18 months as acting City Manager and the move will allow him to fill key positions. His contract specifies that his priorities are to stabilize the leadership at the water services department and stabilize the city's financial situation. Schulte was named acting City Manager on November 19, 2009, after Wayne Cauthen was dismissed.
