This paper includes an introduction, timeline (1853-2005) for the Kansas City and Cameron Railroad, and various supporting references for the timeline. The references include photocopies of Web sites, newspaper clippings, hand drawn diagrams, maps, advertisements, photographs, etc. The main focus is railroad service through Clay County, Missouri, with some general information concerning the initial nineteenth-century railroad development in this area to its demise in the mid-twentieth century. Includes information on the Hannibal Bridge, train doodlebugs, the Burlington train depot in Liberty, Missouri (1906-1979), and photographs of what currently remains of the Chandler depot just northwest of Liberty. According to the timeline, the Kansas City and Cameron Railroad became the Kansas City, Galveston, and Lake Superior Railroad, then the Hannibal and St. Joseph Railroad, and eventually the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad.
