The local music community is mourning the death of singer/songwriter Abigail Hope Henderson. During her music career Henderson performed with bands such as Trouble Junction, the Gas Lights, and Atlantic Fadeout. After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008, Henderson and her husband formed the Midwest Music Foundation, which assists local musicians in dealing with health care issues.
