Photograph of LaMar's Donuts at 240 Linwood Boulevard, circa 1981. The building intially served as a garage and gas station, and in 1960 became the original location of the doughnut shop which grew to become a regional chain. LaMar's closed the location in 2003.

Photograph of the Gillis Building at 500 Walnut Street, the southwest corner of 5th and Walnut, in the early 1990s. Built on the site of the Gillis Opera House, the Gillis Building opened 1926, and was the home to Grandpa's Saloon and Grandma's Pie Pantry at the time of the photograph.
