Photograph of a footbridge and sign on the north side of Brush Creek in the 1980s. The sign, standing between J. C. Nichols Parkway and Wornall Road, was placed in 1977 and lists distances to Kansas City's sister cities: Seville, Spain; Morelia, Mexico; Kurashiki, Japan; and Freetown, Sierra Leone. The bridge was disassembled in the early 1990s and replaced circa 1999.

Photograph of Brush Creek between J. C. Nichols Parkway and Wornall Road in the 1980s. The pictured footbridge provided pedestrian access from apartment buildings south of the creek to the Plaza retail area to the north. The bridge was disassembled in the early 1990s and replaced circa 1999.
