Woolworth's five-and-dime store, on the northeast corner, and Harzfeld's department store, on the southeast corner, are pictured. Embassy movie theater, east of Woolworth's, is also pictured. The Woolworth's building was partially demolished for the construction of a Saks department store, which opened in 1982. Harzefeld's closed in 1984.
