The slave cabin called Aunt Sophie's Kitchen is to be rededicated Saturday, December 4, 2004. Part of the Rice-Tremonti Home, the cabin was home to the slave called Aunt Sophie. It's at Blue Ridge Boulevard and 66th Street. Article gives some history of Sophie and the Rice family as well as the cabin that has been rebuilt several times.
