Photos, illustrations, and information on Kelly's bar at 500 Westport Road, built in the mid-1800s and often called the oldest building in Kansas City. Used for various purposes including a Santa Fe trading post, grocery store (since the early 1900s by the Wiedenmann family of Overland Park, still the owners of the building in the 1970s), and bar or tavern since at least 1936 (the Westport Inn then until bought by Ireland native Randal Kelly in the 1940s).
