City Court Switches to Paperless Ticket System
-
Description
-
August 29 the city implemented a switch from paper tickets and follow-up procedures to a new all electronic database. Motorists will now receive a ??paper receipt? rather than a handwritten ticket, and the e-ticket will go automatically to the court instead of an officer physically taking it there. The new system should be faster and more efficient than the old paper system.
