The Robert Louis Stevenson Condominiums are located at the corner of Jefferson Street and Ward Parkway near the Country Club Plaza. This older apartment building was designed by local woman architect Nelle Peters and is seven stories high. The condos start at $140,000. The building has been completely renovated and still features the detailed crown moldings and sun proches.

Eight self-portrait ceramic head sculptures done by Kansas City Art Institute students sit perched on the roofline of an apartment building at 48th and Jefferson called Vanity Fair. The heads were glued in place by apartment owner Don Anderson. The apartment building was designed by Nelle E. Peters and is part of the Poets Group located near the Country Club Plaza and is in a historic district. The city's Landmark Commission now wants the heads taken down.

Story features the Hillcrest Apartments near the intersection of Gladstone Boulevard and St. John Avenue. The buildings have been vacant since a fire in August of 2001 and are referred to by persons in the neighborhood as the "evil twins". The structures were designed by Nelle Peters in 1922 and in recent years have had many code violations. The apartments are located in the Scarritt Renaissance Neighborhood in the northeast area of the city.

Photograph of the front porch of Ambassador Apartments at 441 Knickerbocker Place, circa 1981. The building, called Ambassador B, and its twin neighbor to the east, Ambassador A, were designed by local architect Nelle Peters and were built by the Ambassador Hotel to serve as overflow guest rooms in 1927 and were later used as apartments. Both buildings were razed in 2012.

The building was renovated into apartments circa 1982, at the time the building and several of its neighbors were placed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Photograph circa 1980s of the Luzier Cosmetics building at 3216 Gillham Plaza. The north building (five bays) was built in 1927 for the Martha Washington Candy Company by the architectural firm Hoit, Price & Barnes. The south building (three bays) was designed by local architect Nelle E. Peters in 1928. "When the two buildings were linked together in 1933 with a one-story, one-bay unit, and a second story walkway, the main facade of the north building was modified to match the features designed by Peters for the original Luzier facility." (National Register of Historic Places Registration Form, p. 7) The building served as headquarters for Luzier’s Cosmetics Firm from 1928 until 2000. In 2017, it was placed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Luzier Special Formula Laboratories Building.
