The Quality Hill neighborhood and Garment District can be seen in the distance.

Quality Hill First Quarters of the University Club

Photos and article about the history of the University Club, "started during the boom of 1886" with its first quarters opened in 1902 at the "[o]ld Armour residence which stood at 1216 Broadway on Quality Hill." Moved in 1906 to 11th and Baltimore Avenue until destroyed by fire and moved to the Kansas City Club building in 1923 and then to 918 Baltimore Avenue by 1981 (pictured on page 1).
