Approximate locations of other tribes in the West (U.S. and a portion of Canada) are indicated. Some of the tribes named in the map are Kickapoo, Shawnee, Delaware, Peoria and Kaskaskia, Piankashaw and Wea, Oneida, Tuscarora, Quapaw, Seneca, Cherokee, Creek, Seminole, Chocktaw, Chickasaw, Osage, Arapaho, Comanche, Pawnee, Kiowa, Shoshone, Cheyenne, Crow, Dakota, Omaha and Oto, Sac and Fox.
