(1) Engine House No. 1 with nine identified firefighters by horse-drawn fire-fighting equipment; (2) Engine House No. 2 with nine identified firefighters by horse-drawn fire equipment; (3) Kansas City No. 3 with nine identified firefighters by horse-drawn fire equipment; (4) McGee H & L, No. 1 with four mostly unidentified fire fighters standing by hook and ladder fire equipment. In the middle of the composite is a portrait cameo of M. Burnet, Chief.
