Grant Middaugh (ca. 1841-1930), a Kansas City architect for 42 years, with residence at 3700 Roberts Street. Description of his life and career as a native of New York coming to Kansas City about 1888 and designing the following buildings: (1) the Westport Branch Library at Wyandotte and Westport Roads, (2) the George B. Peck Dry Goods Company store at 11th and Main Streets, (3) the apartments in Knickerbocker Place, (4) the Woodlea Hotel, (5) the William Wallace mansion on Scarritt Point, and (6) "the Corrigan house" at 17th and Summit Streets, etc.
