Photograph, looking southeast, circa 1980s of the Flavel B. Tiffany residence (in the rightside of the photo), designed by architect Clifton B. Sloan, known as the "Tiffany Castle" at 100 Garfield Avenue. Dr. Tiffany, a prominent early Kansas City eye doctor, built the house in 1909 to resemble castles he had seen in Europe. To the south is a single family home at 106 Garfield Avenue, built in 1894. Placed on the Kansas City Register of Historic Places as part of the Pendleton Heights Historic District in 1992. Located in the Pendleton Heights neighborhood.
