File contains November 1953 issue of Step-Up, with article (and photocopy of article) about Edward R. Pate. Pate was a native Kansas Citian who built a highly successful business career in Chicago. He returned to his hometown in 1949 to establish Twin Cities Advertising Agency and its radio station, KPRS. Article includes several photos of employees of "the nation's only all-Negro operated Radio station" as well as photos of Pate and his family. File also contains 8x10 photograph of Pate broadcasting.
