File contains a publication entitled "Exhibit of Outstanding Negro Americans" which is dated May 7-June 1, 1947. This exhibit contained 32 oil portraits done by Betsy Graves Reyneau and Laura Wheeler Waring with each subject listed. The exhibit was arranged by the Carver Neighborhood Center and the Urban League of Kansas City. The back of the publication gives the Board of Directors of the Urban League of Kansas City at that time as well as the Board of Directors of the Carver Neighborhood Center. File also contains an undated list titled "Negro Artists in Greater Kansas City" which lists 25 individuals and their address; a newspaper clipping titled "Paintings Honor Area Blacks", Kansas City Times, July 2, 1984, in which three Kansas City area artists are mentioned being Dell G. Godbold, Antonio Wade, and Leonard Jenkins; and a color polaroid photo of a bust described as Martin Luther King done by Perry Owens.
