It was built ca. 1911 and served as a church after the theater closed in 1952. It was demolished in 2015, after the roof collapsed in 2014. In the Scarritt Point neighborhood.

Photograph looking southeast circa late 1970s of the Belleclaire Apartment Hotel at 401 East Armour Boulevard. It was designed by architect Nelle Peters, built in 1927 and demolished in 1979. The lot was acquired by the city in 1988 and a small park called Commonwealth Green occupies the space.

Photograph of the Lincoln Building on the southeast corner of 18th and Vine in the late 1980s. The commercial and professional social building, with a third floor dance hall, opened in 1921 and served as a hub of Kansas City's black community. After several decades of decline, a renovation project, converting the building into office space, began in 1979 and completed in 1981.

Photograph of the Vitagraph Film Exchange building at the southeast corner of 17th and Wyandotte in the early 1980s. Built in 1930 by Warner Brothers, the building was part of Kansas City's Film Row, an area focused on the film distribution industry. Warner Brothers continued to occupy the building into the 1970s, but an "Office Space for Lease" sign is posted at the time of the photograph.

The buildings served as the bakery and distribution center for Manor Bakery beginning in 1925. Multiple mergers resulted in the Manor label becoming part of Colonial Bakery, which continued to operate in the space through 1986, when the buildings were included in a major mixed-use redevelopment project that included the construction of the Manor Square building on the southwest corner of the block.

Photograph of the Westport Bank building at the southeast corner of Westport Road and Broadway circa 1980. The bank originally opened in this location in 1906, and in 1978, the building underwent a $300,000 renovation aimed at creating a contemporary version of the building's original facade. The building was torn down in July 2018 for a mixed-use development project.

The area, south of Linwood Boulevard to 34th Street, between Main and Gillham, was deemed blighted and ridden with crime in drugs in the late 1980s, and these buildings, as well as other homes, apartments, and commercial buildings, were demolished in the early and mid-'90s as part of the so-called "Glover Plan" to be replaced by the Midtown Marketplace development, a large commercial development anchored by big box retailers Home Depot and Costco.
