The Hilton Plaza Inn, at 1 West 45th, occupies the bottom left corner of the image, and numerous residential buildings are pictured lining 47th Street. Streetcar tracks can be seen running behind commercial buildings in the foreground, south diagonally across Main Street, before running alongside Brookside Boulevard south of Brush Creek. Main Street and Brookside Boulevard were later realigned as part of a Brush Creek beautification and flood control project in the 1990s.

Calvary Baptist Church, at 3921 Baltimore, can be seen in the background on the opposite side of the block. The Price Candy Company Building, occupied by the Foolkiller Theater company, can be seen on the northwest corner of the intersection.

Photograph of the house at 4408 Warwick Boulevard in the early 1980s. The house, originally known as the Stanley P. Christopher Residence after an early resident, was purchased by the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and incorporated into the construction of their new Central Congregation facilities. The buildings were demolished in 1993 to provide parking for the new Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art.

Grant Middaugh and built in 1907 as well as single family homes at 211 Benton Boulevard, 205 Benton Boulevard and 201 Benton Boulevard. The apartment building visible at the end of the block was demolished in 1988.
