Give Your Regards to Broadway, KC
-
Description
-
Discussion of the proposed light-rail plan and its affect on Penn Valley Park. The plan calls for the removal of Broadway or technically Penn Valley Drive within the Park between 26th and 31st streets. "Kessler Drive and other roads through the park also would close. Wyandotte Street, which runs along the east edge of the park, and Memorial Drive would remain open." Citizens, however, are concerned about the rerouting or closing of Broadway.
