Early map of Westport, Missouri, shows streets with names and width; some residences like Col. A. Boone; and the Godfrey Vineyard. A “Table of Distances” gives miles from Westport to places like San Francisco; Salt Lake City; Astoria, Oregon; Santa Fe; etc. It notes population of Westport in 1846 as 300 and in 1855 as 1500. It includes an inset map of Missouri, beginning around Jefferson City, and Kansas, showing rivers and roads, especially the Salt Lake City and California road.
