Composite photograph identified as the Coon-Sanders Original Nighthawks. A portrait of Carleton Coon is on the top left and one of Joe Sanders is on the top right. Written on the back side of the photo, "band that played the Blackhawk Restaurant, Chicago, Ill. and broadcast each nite on WGN." Edmiston note indicates that exception would be Bill Haid, center left, who left the band before the Nighthawk days. Other members not identified on the photograph. A "MCA Attraction" sticker is attached to the bottom right hand corner.
