Description of Warner, a national representative and senator from Missouri and mayor of Kansas City, as well as founder of the Kansas City Life Insurance Company at 9th and Main Streets in 1895 and developer of the Warner Plaza at 31st and Main Streets. House later renovated into the architectural offices for John Monroe, Jr. and Gene Lefebvre in 1966 (along with the K. B. Armour residence at 1017 Pennsylvania Avenue).
